Annie Abinanti, SLP
Lead Speech Therapist
Annie is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 12 years of experience working in schools, home health, developmental preschools, outpatient clinics, and children’s hospitals. She earned her Master of Science in Speech Pathology & Audiology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2011. Inspired by her brother, who has a speech impediment, Annie was drawn to the field early on and has always felt speech therapy was a natural passion for her.
She is trained in DIRFloortime techniques and is a certified Orofacial Myologist. While she enjoys all areas of communication, her special interests include fluency (stuttering), childhood apraxia of speech, and orofacial myology. Her experience as a travel therapist across several states, including Idaho, Texas, and North Carolina, has given her the opportunity to work with families from many different cultures and backgrounds.
Since moving here in 2017 from Alaska, Annie has embraced the outdoors and community life. She enjoys hiking, camping, paddle boarding, a good cup of coffee, all kinds of chocolate (even burnt food!), and is excited to be welcoming a new puppy into her life. In therapy, Annie’s style is playful, client-focused, and functional, always meeting each child where they are.

Melissa, SLP
Speech Therapist
Meet Melissa — a speech-language pathologist, wife, mom, and outdoor enthusiast. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Idaho State University and has been working with children in both school and clinical settings ever since.
Helping kids find their voice is more than just her job — it’s her passion. Whether she’s supporting a child’s first words, helping them grow their confidence, or tackling tricky sounds together, Melissa strives to make therapy a positive, playful, and empowering experience.
When she’s not in the clinic or the classroom, you’ll usually find her outside — hiking, camping, or simply soaking in the peace and joy that comes with being in nature. Melissa is grateful to do this work and honored to walk alongside families as they celebrate each milestone.
